Green U-Turn on Nuclear Power
The one-time opponents of nuclear power, who include the former head of Greenpeace, have told The Independent that they have now changed their minds over atomic energy because of the urgent need to curb emissions of carbon dioxide.

IF you beleive in Global warming then this would be a logical step. The French have been using Nuclear power extensively for years without a problem. The BBC’s own Horizon programme showed the real level of problem from a nuclear accident in their programme on Chenobyl— it was much smaller than projected and worth a watch— very surprising. I’m surpsired the BBC showed it.
All life carries risk whether you are a NUclear power plant worker, a lorry driver or a houswife. In a nutshell life expectancy in the UK has increased tremendously compared to say 100yrs ago, when we lived probably greener lives. There is no such thing as a free lunch
