Paul,

Off thread somewhat - on Tuesday I heard a reading on ABC radio of an obituary in the Times (?) on the death of Common Sense. Seems applicable to this discussion, but I can't locate it so far and thus can't spread it.

Any clues?

It goes with the title track from the John Prine album "Common Sense" which has the refrain "It makes no sense that common sense don't make no sense no more".
